2014 Riley Fletcher Basic Municipal Law Seminar to Be Live Streamed!
As another benefit to TCAA members, the 2014 Riley Fletcher Basic Municipal Law Seminar will be live streamed. The two-day seminar will take place on February 20-21, 2014, at the Texas Municipal Center in Austin, Texas. We hope you can join us in Austin but if you can’t, you will also be able to view it online. Watch for details and registration soon!
FREE CLE! The 2013 TCAA Fall Conference is Available Online
The TCAA Online Seminars are FREE, allowing TCAA members who are city attorneys, assistant city attorneys, or attorneys who regularly practice municipal law to view videos of past seminars in a single–session format. Viewing of the session allows attorneys to receive participatory CLE credit with the State Bar. To view available seminars, please visit www.tcaaonlineseminars.org. (Use the case-sensitive password “FreeCLE” to gain access to the sessions.
Supreme Court Preview Webinar
The U.S. Supreme Court will hear numerous cases of interest to local governments during its October Term 2013. The State and Local Legal Center (SLLC) recently hosted a free one-hour webinar regarding some of those cases. The webinar was submitted by TCAA to the State Bar and approved for 1.5 hours of participatory credit (course number 901279902). Attorneys are responsible for reporting their own hours online to the State Bar.
