TCAA 2014 Fall Conference in Houston – Registration/Housing Information

The Texas City Attorneys Association Fall Conference will be held in conjunction with the TML Annual Conference and Exhibition on October 2, 2014, at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston. Topics will include: (1) background checks; (2) outdoor lighting ordinances; (3) recent state cases; (4) recent federal cases; (5) the Voting Rights Act; (6) ethics; and (7) a legislative forecast. Attorneys can earn up to 4.75 MCLE hours, including 1 ethics hour.  For more information or to register, please visit tmlconference.org. (Note:  Attorneys who will not be attending the entire TML Annual Conference and Exhibition will want to choose the “one-day registration” option.) If you have questions or need more information, please contact Heather Mahurin at 512-231-7400 or heather@tml.org.

Note:  A record 1,600 participants registered for the TML Annual Conference the first week that registration and housing opened. While the heavy volume crashed the housing server, J. Spargo (TML’s housing management company) has now confirmed housing reservations for almost 70% of our registered delegates who requested hotels.
TML is adding three new conference hotels next week – the Crowne Plaza, Club Quarters, and J.W. Marriott – and will be adding more as needed. Shuttle service will be provided to and from these hotels. The new hotels will be listed on the TML Annual Conference website when contracts are finalized.
J. Spargo will follow up in the next couple of weeks with all registrants whose housing isn’t yet confirmed (in the order that they registered for conference).

If you’re planning to register for the TML Annual Conference, the registration site is open! If you are registering and need housing, your housing request will be handled by J. Spargo in the order received.

We’re thrilled with the enthusiastic response to the Houston conference, and hope to see you there!
